S&P: Various Rating Actions Taken On Seven Ohio School Districts' Limited-Tax Debt In Response To Application Of New Criteria

S&P Global Ratings took various rating actions on seven Ohio school districts' limited-tax debt based on the application of its Issue Credit Ratings Linked To U. S. Public Finance Obligors' Creditworthiness criteria, published Jan. 22, 2018, on RatingsDirect:

Southwest Licking Local School District, Willoughby-Eastlake City School District, Hilliard City School District, Chillicothe City School District, Orange City School District, Westerville City School District, andPrinceton City School District. As outlined in "Credit FAQ: An Overview Of S&P Global Ratings' Updated Methodology For Issue Credit Ratings Linked To U. S. Public Finance Obligors' Creditworthiness," Jan. 22, 2018, we apply the revised criteria to all new issues and surveillance reviews.

"We plan to complete our review of existing ratings covered by these criteria within 18 months," said S&P Global Ratings credit analyst Kathryn Clayton.

We intend to prioritize our reviews with the highest likelihood of movement.
